Dassia is a beautiful tourist destination situated on the eastern coast of the island, close to Corfu Town  ( 12 kms ).

There is a regular bus service connecting Dassia to Corfu Town at 20 minute intervals.

Dassia was one of the first areas to be developed as a holiday resort so therefore has many hotels, apartments, shops, tavernas etc.  The bay of Dassia has a gradually sloping, fine sand beach dotted with many tall trees, which offer pleasant shade during the hottest hours.  As the whole the area is generally level which makes it particularly suitable for families with children and persons with physical difficulties.

There is a wide selection of water sports available (ski, paragliding, banana etc.) plus sun beds and umbrellas available for hire.  
Many restaurants, tavernas, bars, boutiques, souvenir shops together with the wonderful beach are sure to satisfy all your holiday expectations.
